Monumental sculptures are fabricated from shaped steel welding together, and given further refinements of surface and color. He works openly, building articulated forms that allow the viewer to look at both the interior and exterior of the sculpture simultaneously. Line, edge, shape, and plane are components he both utilizes and examines in composing his sculpture. His wrought-iron sculptures are made by welding together the found steel shapes.
